Pupillometer CIP at the top mountain shelter in the alps

From August 28 till September 12, 2010 the University Eye Clinic Tübingen studies the effect of oxygen deficiency to the eye at the Capanna Margeherita.

The Capanna Margherita is located at the summit of the Signalkuppe at an altitude of 4554 m at the swiss-italien border in Valais. PD Dr. Florian Gekeler, Dr. Gabriel Willmann, Dr. Dominik Fischer and Andreas Schatz measure the impact of anoxia to the eye with the best available equipment. One of these is the Compact Intergrated Pupillograph CIP.

We wish the team all the best, good weather and a lot of success with the project.
